The one and true meat shield. Where Ninja relies on avoidance of hits, Paladin relies on most defense possible to take minimal damage per hit. Where cases evasion tanking is impractical Paladin picks up the slack.

The most commonly used and in most situations Warrior subjob is used. In other, very rare cases some implement ninja subjob in an attempt to combine evasion tanking with the paladin's hardiness as a failsafe.
